Enhance your career with EAI as a Workshop Chair in 2021!
EAI offers researchers focusing on cutting-edge technologies an opportunity to boost their profile, get global recognition and become leaders in their field of research by organizing an international workshop.
For the year 2021, EAI is offering the opportunity to organize workshops in 8 distinct topic areas:
| Network & Communications | Smart Cities |
| Intelligent Systems | Internet of Things |
| Systems & Security | Developing Communities |
| eHealth | Arts, Education, Media |
Workshop Chairs receive EAI membership benefits and public recognition based on objective member evaluation (EAI Index), including personal recognition via EAI’s Newsletter and more.
In 2020 EAI has held over 60 successful workshops around the world. In support of the workshops, EAI offers advanced management tools, including unbiased community review, global dissemination, a dedicated support team, co-publishing with Springer (LNICST) and submission for inclusion in all leading indexing services, including Ei Compendex, Web of Science, Scopus, CrossRef, Google Scholar, dblp, and more.
Workshops are commonly established to explore emerging technologies or demonstrative innovative solutions to novel technological challenges. They are coordinated as single-track technical events focused on a specialized topic area, scheduled for ½-1 day in duration. Successful workshops have an option to be organized annually or even become standalone events. In addition to the selected papers, workshops can also feature Invited Paper Sessions. They may be held in conjunction with other events such as Exhibits, or include sessions with specific characteristics like Keynote Speeches, Special Sessions, Panels, or Work-in-Progress Paper Sessions.
